Douglas Haddon, 71, of Baytown, passed abroad Sunday, November 3, 2013 in Baytown. He was built-in Nov xiii, 1941 in Crosby to his tardily parents, Lawrence Haddon and Nell Ewell Haddon. Mr. Haddon was a lifelong resident of the Baytown-Crosby area, a 1960 graduate of Crosby High Schoolhouse, fellow member of the Crosby Buffalo football teams and likewise excelled at other sports while in high school. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era and in his younger days, Douglas enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He spent most of his recent time visiting people, dancing, eating at Crimson Lobster and attending the Crosby Buffalo football reunions. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Vicki Haddon; brother, Lawrence Haddon; son-in-constabulary, Michael Clement and friend Wayne Clement. Survivors include his daughter, Carole Villere and her husband Denis of Baytown; brother, Donald Haddon and his married woman Patsy of Crosby; granddaughter, Samantha Villere; friends, Lisa Carranza, Isabel Carranza and Niwassa Clement; niece and nephew, Jeff Haddon and his wife Cassie and Tami Harrison and her hubby Shawn several corking-nieces and great-nephews and a host of other friends and family unit. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.g. to 7:00 p.m., Wed, November 6, 2013 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.grand., Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the funeral dwelling with Pastor Philip Weatherford officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Denis Villere, David Havel, Eddie Cowins, Jeff Haddon, John Severson and Gerald Smith. Honorary pallbearers will exist Shawn Harrison, Lee Franta and the 1959-1960 Crosby Buffalo Football game Team. Arrangements are under the management of Navarre Funeral Domicile & Cremation Services, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas 77521, (281) 422-8111.

I am so sorry I cannot prove my respect for your father by attention his funeral. Douglas was a young boy who played with my nephews and cousins when we all lived in the land (FM1942). He was e'er a happy, fun person. I pray that God will comfort you and mend your broken middle.

I worked with Douglas Lawrence from 1989 until his retirement. During my late married man's affliction he would take me to lunch once a week. He was a very expert friend, taught me a lot nigh plumbing and will exist truly missed.

We are so lamentable to hear about your father's passing. Doug was a unique private and will be missed. We think of him daily and will go along to remember of him with appreciation everytime nosotros open up the refrigerator that he was kind plenty to purchase for us at the office.
